SHURFLO 8000:

water-tight power connector stops water wicking and prevents potential

|
One of the advantageous applications in PV solar system is the water
pumping.
Direct mode: The system is
composed by the Pump + PV panel.
Connecting the panels directly to the pump, it will work
with the sunshine. In this mode, pump can works only during the day, and the
amount of liquid pumped will be according to the weather and sunshine level.
Description: The solar system supplies
the necessary energy to the motor of the pump, developed to
consume little energy and to work with the typical variations of the
sunshine. The pump will work powered with the electricity supplied for the
Sun, without any cost.
The installation can be made of two
modes, as follow:
Advantages: System is very easy to install, at low
cost.
Disadvantage: Pumping flow is not
constant and will be
according to the sunshine level.
Application: Wells, lakes,
fountain, dam, cisterns and on locals where you don't need a constant flow.

Indirect
mode: The system is
composed by the Pump + PV panel + Charging Controller + Battery. Once
added a charge controller and the battery, the energy will come from the battery witch is recharged by the
solar panel. Pump can work as you need.
Description: The battery supplies
the necessary energy to the motor of the pump, developed to
consume little energy and to work with the typical variations of the
sunshine. The battery will be recharged for the
PV panel.
Advantages: Have the pumping working
constantly, whenever necessary, at the day or night.
Application: Well, lake,
swimming pools, nurseries of fish, water heating or cooling, cisterns,
aeration, fountain, dam and on locals where you need a constant flow.
